Over The Years, A Newsman Learns A Number Of Things That He Just Cannot Report...It Doesn't Seem To Matter Now, So: The Following People Are Gay."
Didja hear? Ann Colter said John Edwards was a "faggot"! Isn't she just so outrageous!
Normally, I would not waste time acknowledging her existence, but I have to say that I'm a little disappointed (actually, a lot pissed) that her hate speech is going pretty much unreported in the so-called Liberal Media (which, as far as I can tell, is any news source that isn't owned by Rupert Murdock).
The Boston Globe doesn't mention it.

USA Today doesn't mention it.
No mention on the CBS News website.
The NY Times mentions her name (in the 14th paragraph), but makes no mention of her homophobic slur.
It's not that I think that her spiteful incivility is in anyway newsworthy...I think that the applause she got after making the remark is.
Miss Ann Colter

Screw her, and her Skeletor looking ways. She come to Bloomington sometimes to speak at the university. I'll have a nice tomato waiting for her scarecrow face.

I'm so glad the grown-ups are back in charge. On the bright side, her remarks made StudioDave and I each pny up $100 to the Edwards campaign.
In other news, does anyone here know where I can find a payday loan?

I know she's just doing it for attention, but it still makes me ill.
I'd like to vomit into her open mouth.

I knew you'd write about this! It's actually in the news today because some companies have pulled their ads.
I agree with Shamus.

evil spock-Me and the wife passed through Bloomington last year...lovely town.
otto man-Payday loans? Sounds good to me!
shamus-As Sy said above, I think she'd get off on that.
ag-Maybe she could start advertising TrimSpa, now that Anna Nicole's gone.
shannon-That's a great idea, staying away from the news.
