I've always been bad at remembering dates, and I missed a big one this week. No, not the celebration of Sylvana and my agreement, under the law, to love and obey and file our taxes jointly. Hmm, speaking of, I think my wedding anniversary is coming up soon, don't ask me which year it is. I think it's the thirteenth or something...but that's another post.

Anyways, this May 1st was a big anniversary, Mission Accomplished! I guess now it's accomplisheder? At any rate, here's a picture of our fearless leader sure to inspire the boys on the front lines:

  • It's all bad press! The war is actually going really, really well, but the damn media can only focus on the negatives!

    I mean, what's a few thousand Americans dead and a few trillion bucks? At least all the Iraqi's are FREE to vote and be slaughtered by roaming death squads. Sweet, sweet freedom!

    shamus-I just can't help but think this would have gone so much better if the guys planning this whole deal would have thought we might face tougher problems than figuring out how many troops would be needed to sweep up all the rose petals that would be showered down upon us as we rolled into Baghdad.

    elizabeth-yeah, that first one gives me the willies...but it's darned hard to find pictures of the president in lingere not saying utterly disgusting things, and I was too busy to invest the time in changing the caption.
